It was a delight to be able to watch boundless energy and enthusiasm on show at the fifth Apollo Tyres Millennium City Marathon 2019 in Gurgaon on Sunday, December 1, 2019. I walked a fair bit and now realise that I have managed to capture frames of 21 of the 22 winners (men and women’s overall and age-categories).
To the credit of my friend Abhishek Mishra, his tireless colleagues and his countless friends, the event was well conducted (though, like all good things, there is room for improvement). I never imagined I would be able to watch fitness ambassador Milind Soman at ‘work’ on a Sunday morning. Trust me, it was fun putting together this album.
The runners say that the hours on the road is their respective ‘me-time’. I am beginning to understand what they mean. Here’s a gallery of the overall men and women’s winners, the category winners and Milind Soman.
